ANNOUNCES TRANSFER OF WEALTH RESEARCH:
$598 Billion Potential in Kansas over 50 Years
(May 12, 2008) Wamego, KS– Research results announced today by the Kansas Association of Community Foundations, including the Kansas Rural Communities Foundation (KRCF), projects that over the next 50 years, more than $598 billion will transfer from one generation to the next in Kansas. BELVUE PARK ORGANIZATION PARTNERS WITH KRCF FOR COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES
(April 7, 2008) Belvue, KS — As part of its ongoing fundraising efforts for community improvement projects, the Belvue Park Organization (BPO) established the Belvue Community Improvement Fund, an affiliated fund with the Kansas Rural Communities Foundation, a 501(c )(3) nonprofit in Wamego, to raise money for a new playground, basketball court, walking trail, and other facilities. (March 1, 2008) Wamego, KS — René Eichem, Wamego, has been appointed executive director of the Kansas Rural Communities Foundation (KRCF) and Wamego Community Foundation (WCF) in Wamego.
