Administrative Fund
The Administrative Fund was established in June 2006 to provide funds to help finance the necessary costs of staff and related expenses needed for the Foundation to establish itself and operate to address charitable needs, especially for communities in and around the area of Pottawatomie County, Kansas. Belvue Community Improvement Fund
The Belvue Community Improvement Fund was established in April 2008 to help fund community improvements, including building a new playground, half-size basketball court, and walking trail as well as improvements to the existing ball field. To contribute to the fund,

Blue Valley Foundation Fund
The Blue Valley Foundation Fund was established in July 2006 to receive, administer, and distribute funds for such charitable or educational purposes as will, in the discretion of the Blue Valley Foundation Fund Advisory Committee, make for the mental, moral, intellectual, and physical improvement, assistance, and relief … primarily for the inhabitants and students of USD #384 and of the communities within said district therein and, where such funds are substantially for the benefit of USD #384 and communities within said district, incidental grants may be made anywhere in the United States, all being regardless of race, color, or creed; and without in any way limiting or restricting the foregoing. Flint Hills Horse Park Fund
Established in April 2007, the Flint Hills Horse Park Fund is to complete the final design and feasibility work and provide capital and start-up operating funds for the proposed Flint Hills Horse Park and Special Events Center. To contribute to the fund, < click here >.
Havensville Community Improvement Fund
The purpose of the Havensville Community Improvement Fund, which was established in November 2006, is for the restoration and upgrade of the playground at the Havensville Community Center. To contribute to the fund, < click here >.
Leisure Land Playground Fund (Onaga)
The Leisure Land Playground Fund was established in June 2006 by a group of citizens in Onaga who realized the need for an “awesome playground” for area children. Funds raised were used to purchase materials and supplies to build a composite lumber, certified safe, one-of-a kind playground. Designed by local children and constructed by more than 400 volunteers, the $100,000 playground officially opened on Sunday, April 22, 2007.
Donations are still being accepted (and encouraged!) in order to grow an endowment fund that will be used to pay for upkeep and maintenance on the playground so that future generations of children (and those who are children at heart) can continue to use and enjoy it. Norton Community Improvement Fund
In April 2008, the Frontier Foundation established the Norton Community Improvement Fund, which will be used to build and maintain a year-round community center and swimming pool in Norton, KS, as well as to fund future community improvements. To contribute to the fund, < click here >.
Pottawatomie County Economic Development (PCEDC) Fund
Established in June 2007, the PCEDC fund was established to provide funds to further enhance the economic well-being and quality of life of the citizens of Pottawatomie County; to foster community growth throughout Pottawatomie County by promoting economic programs designed to strengthen and expand the income potential of all businesses within the county; and to promote programs of a civic, social, and cultural nature, which are designed to increase the functional and aesthetic value of the county. Pottawatomie County Historic Preservation Fund
This fund was established in August 2007 to provide financial support for projects that preserve, enhance, or promote public awareness of sites and assets that commemorate the history and heritage of Pottawatomie County, its communities, and its people. To contribute to the fund, < click here >.
Pottawatomie Wabaunsee Regional Library Fund
The Pottawatomie Wabaunsee Regional Library Fund was established in December 2006 to collect funds to finance costs associated with the successful completion of a Library Automation Project at the Pottawatomie Wabaunsee Regional Library headquartered in St. Marys. Branches of the library are located in Alma, Eskridge, and Onaga with mini-libraries in Alta Vista, Harveyville, Olsburg, and Westmoreland. The Pottawatomie Wabaunsee Regional Library is the only two-county public library in Kansas and has been serving both counties since 1962. St. George Historical Society Fund
The St. George Historical Society Fund was established in September 2006 to collect, preserve, and display items of historic interest concerning the city of St. George, KS, and the surrounding area and to provide a permanent location for public education and viewing. The Ties That Bind Fund (Havensville/Onaga/Wheaton)
In March 2007, the Ties That Bind Fund was created to provide needed support and services for families in the Havensville/Onaga/Wheaton area who have children below the age of 21 who have been diagnosed with permanently disabling illnesses or injuries.
Types of support that may be provided include cash assistance; purchase of food, medicines, home or hospice care, necessary materials or equipment; construction of facilities; payment of extraordinary medical expenses; transportation; and other support and services needed to help qualifying families maintain a functional home environment for their children who are permanently disabled due to diagnosed illness or injury. Wamego Telephone Company Donor Advised Fund
Established in August 2007, the Wamego Telephone Company Donor Advised Fund is a perpetual endowed fund used for charitable purposes of the Kansas Rural Communities Foundation.
Westmoreland Community Improvement Fund
