Scholarships
Pete Darting Memorial Scholarship Fund (Rossville HS)
- The annual scholarship amount to be awarded shall be at least $150; however, if at some future time, the Fund becomes large enough to be an endowment fund, the annual scholarship amount shall be determined by the guidelines used at such time by the Foundation for annual disbursements from endowment funds, thereby allowing the Fund to remain in perpetuity.
- At least one scholarship recipient shall generally be selected at the end of each school year.
- Available to a Rossville (KS) High School graduating senior.
- Available for attendance at any accredited school.
- Preference shall be given to students who have participated in any high school sport.
- Financial need will be considered.
R-Tech Tool & Machine Scholarship Fund (Wabaunsee HS)
- The recipient shall be a Wabaunsee High School (USD 329) graduating senior.
- At least one recipient shall be selected at the end of each school year.
- The scholarship amount to be awarded shall generally be $250; however, the scholarship amount shall be determined by the guidelines used at such time by the Foundation for annual disbursements from endowment funds, thereby allowing the Fund to remain in perpetuity.
- Available for attendance at any accredited school.
- Preference shall be given to students who are members of the FFA.
- Preference shall be given to students who plan to study metal fabrication (welding, machine tool, etc.).
- Preference shall be given to students with “B” or “C” GPAs.
- Preference shall be given to students who are required to work in order to fund their college education.
- Financial need will be considered.
Frank and Lorna Smith Scholarship (Onaga HS)
- The recipient shall be the graduating valedictorian of Onaga High School
(USD 322).
- Available for attendance at any accredited school.
- The scholarship amount to be awarded shall be 80% of the annual net income of the principal scholarship fund.
St. Marys Masonic Memorial Scholarship Fund (St. Marys HS)

The recipient shall be a St. Marys (Kansas) High School graduating senior.

At least one recipient shall be selected at the end of each school year.

Disbursements of the scholarship shall be awarded directly to the student at the beginning of the second semester of attendance to any college, junior college, or vocational-technical school.

The scholarship must be used for educational purposes of the student.

Special consideration shall be given to academic achievement, leadership, and financial needs.

The scholarship amount to be awarded shall be in the amount of the annual earnings of the principal scholarship fund.
